Poem: Search

I was falling with never having able to see

If love truly was but a fantasy

And if a fairytale could touch my heart

How could something 'fake' such beauty impart? 

So one day I took a leap when nobody was looking 

And fell down headlong with my heart beating

Pass trees and hills, clouds and sky

Without saying a single goodbye

Pass the stratus and beyond the sphere where the stars danced like fay

Into the nebula where colors were unveiled like in the sun's rays

There I saw such a wondrous sight which I cannot even describe

Of a love so deep that even a saint can't scribe

My journey was done, my tears were gone

All my sorrows I remembered none

There I stayed all my days and my days were forever

And like a fairytale, it ended happily ever after
